Texas turning blue made a House and Senate win hard to believe
A Texan feels patriotic as the House and Senate turn blue, then struggles to believe the news about Texas.
A Texan reacts to the results
The House and Senate are blue. Asked how everyone is feeling, one Texan has a clear answer: amazing.
The feeling goes beyond excitement. Tonight, the Texan says they genuinely feel patriotic. Fetterman is still in the Senate, though they need one more there to feel comfortable. Even with that concern, the mood is one of surprise at what has happened.
Texas adds to the surprise
Then comes Texas. The Texan can hardly believe that it turned blue. They had been hoping to win the House. Winning the Senate as well was more than they had expected, and Texas turning blue made the result feel harder to take in.
Their reaction is simple: pinch me. They are still trying to believe it.
For the last commenter, winning both chambers was already a surprise. Texas made it hard to believe. The House and Senate result was unexpected enough on its own; the news from Texas added another moment of disbelief.
